A leaked video has emerged online showing a trucking company’s staff watching and filming a truck driver changing his clothes at times even showing his manhood in a gross violation of his privacy.
Inward facing cameras have been a subject of heated debate in trucking industries across the world for their invasion of truck drivers’ privacy.
Trucking companies argue that the cameras are important to monitor driver behaviour and in cases of emergency or crashes.
In this video, presumably filmed by a fellow employee, a man is seen undressing in his truck. Staff members can be heard laughing while they see the man takes off what looks like a towel which was covering his privates.
The 44-second video was filmed from a computer screen where fleet controllers check the movements of their trucks. The name of the company has not yet been revealed. The date on the video shows that it was on 22 April 2022.
