Watch: Looters Raid Beer Truck as Rescuers Recover Bodies After Fatal R72 Crash

Two people were killed in a horrific crash involving a beer truck and a sedan on the R72 near Keyser Beach late last night.

The accident occurred at approximately 23:30 when the two vehicles collided, leaving both occupants of the sedan – two adult males – dead on the scene. The truck driver sustained minor injuries.

The impact caused the truck to overturn, spilling its load of beer cases across the road. Rescuers and emergency personnel arriving at the scene were met with a challenging situation as the area was soaked in beer and littered with broken glass, making recovery operations treacherous.
