Watch: Looting frenzy after Touws River community break into overturned truck

The community of Touws River helped themselves to tonnes of macaroni after a truck overturned on the N1 highway in their area on Tuesday afternoon.

From videos shared on social media, one can see that the trailer was almost intact immediately after the crash but after the community visited, the whole roof had disappeared.

It was not immediately clear what caused the accident, however, authorities attended the scene and will be investigating.
