Olifantskop Pass – The N10 highway is currently closed to traffic after a truck transporting live elephants overturned at Olifantskop Pass on Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities have confirmed that the truck was carrying three elephants when it lost control and crashed, completely blocking the road.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, where they found the truck driver seriously injured.
He was airlifted to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.
