Watch: N3 closed after serious crash between 3 trucks and 3 cars in Wardens

The N3 freeway is closed between Roadside and Wardens following a massive accident involving three trucks and three cars.

It is not yet clear what caused the collision which happened at around 21h55 on Friday night.

N3TC tweeted posted on their timeline that the crash caused a total road closure for both northbound and southbound lanes.

At 07h00 truck drivers stuck on the scene reported that there was no movement yet.

Recovery operations resumed earlier this morning and are still ongoing.

Southbound traffic was blocking both carriageways.
