Motorists travelling on the N3 between Pietermaritzburg and Durban last night had a terrible time navigating through traffic as several cars broke down in the middle of the freeway following heavy rains that bartered the two KwaZulu-Natal towns.
Some parts of the N3 freeway were flooded causing problems for small cars.
In a video sent to SA Trucker, the N3 northbound just before Ashburton turned into a massive stream pushing back cars which were driving contraflow to the water.
