The N4 highway is closed between the Waterval tunnel and Ngodwana following an accident involving two articulated trucks and a bakkie.
The two trucks caught fire on impact while blocking the Mbombela bound lanes while the bakkie is blocking the opposite direction.
The cause of the crash is not known.
