A crash involving two trucks and a light motor vehicle (LMV) has resulted in the temporary closure of the R35 between Morgenzon and Bethal.
Reports indicate that two side-tipper trucks collided, and a sedan subsequently crashed into them.
The sedan caught fire upon impact.
The incident occurred around 16:08, approximately 10 km from Morgenzon, according to Road Angels SA. Emergency services, including paramedics, police, and rescue teams, responded promptly to the scene.
Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported. Van Wettens Breakdowns is currently on-site, assisting with clearing the wreckage. However, the cause of the accident remains unclear at this stage.

Motorists are advised to avoid the R35 and use alternative routes, as recovery operations are expected to take some time. Road Angels SA has issued a notice to warn drivers about the disruption and to ensure their safety.
