Daring diesel thieves have operated in this area for a long time with no history of arrests or prosecutions.
In broad daylight, they either connive with truck drivers to steal from their trucks or they steal while the driver goes to a nearby Spar Supermarket.
This video was captured by another trucker on Thursday 18 June 2020 at around 17h30.
The thieves carry on their business without fear crossing the road with their 25-litre containers.
In this video, the thieves stand from a distance while their containers fill up before going to collect them.
It was not immediately clear if there was connivance with the truck driver or they were stealing from him.
