Robbers have devised yet another way of disabling trucks or any vehicle, for the purposes of robbing their victims.
In a recent video shared by CPF Lephalale, a truck was caught up in this dangerous trap which is suspected to have occurred in Hammanskraal near Pretoria.
It’s alleged that the robbers lay the steel cable across the road tying it on both ends.
When a vehicle comes, it crashes into the cable causing it to crash.
The robbers go on to rob the victims of their belongings.
CPF Lephalale wrote:
“Transport Companies/Truck drivers please take note of the video and a new form of serious sabotage and a potentially life-threatening situation for truck drivers that has come to our attention. Steel Cables is strung across the road to disable trucks in order to rob and kill.
Please take extreme caution.”
