A truck driver has been shot in what is believed to be a road rage altercation on the N3, Pinetown-bound from Durban, near the Pavilion off-ramp.

The shooting, which occurred earlier today, reportedly involved two truck drivers.

According to initial reports, the altercation escalated, leading to one of the drivers allegedly firing at the other.

The victim was attended to on-site by ALS Paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not yet been disclosed.
