A Hestony Transport truck lost its load of Zebra carcasses after colliding with a car on the N12 near Warrenton on Saturday afternoon.
According to paramedics, the driver of the car was seriously injured while the trucker sustained minor injuries.
The cause of the accident was not known.

A passing motorist took a video of the aftermath of the crash. In the video, the truck can be seen lying on its side with the front part of the refridgerated container burst open.
There, carcasses of zebras, still in their skin can be seen protruding from the truck.
When reached for comment, Hestony Transport said they would issue a statement in due course.
