Traffic on the N3 northbound is currently heavily affected after a truck overturned between the Tugela River and the Bergville Toll Plaza.
According to an alert from the N3 Toll Concession (N3TC), the incident occurred when a truck knocked a pedestrian before overturning, completely obstructing both the slow and fast lanes.
Although traffic is still moving past the scene, delays are expected as emergency services work to clear the roadway. Motorists are urged to approach the area with extreme caution.
No official update on the condition of the pedestrian or the truck driver has been released yet.
