Watch | Trucker killed another critically injured in N3 two truck crash near Wardens

A truck driver sadly died on the spot while another sustained serious injuries when their trucks collided on the N3 freeway just after the Sasol garage about 40km before Wardens on Wednesday night.

It is believed that the front tyre of a Zambian registered truck burst causing the driver to lose control and encroach onto the south bound lane.

The Zambian truck collided head-on with a container freight truck which was going towards Durban.

Unfortunately, the Zambian trucker died on the scene while the other driver was taken to hospital in a critical state.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the head-on collision.
