Watch: Trucks Roar in Tribute as SNL Logistics Says Final Goodbye to Sibeko

SNL Logistics honoured the life of their beloved truck driver, Nhlanhla Sibeko, with an emotional and unforgettable farewell in Estcourt on Sunday morning.

In a powerful show of respect, the company dispatched a convoy of six trucks to attend Sibeko’s funeral at his rural homestead. Each truck bore a tribute banner that read: “In heartfelt memory of Sibeko. Rest in peace brother.”

The sight of the mighty machines lined up among mourners was a touching reminder of the unity and pride shared within the trucking fraternity.

Sibeko tragically passed away alongside a female companion inside his truck at Three Sisters last week. He had been a dedicated driver for SNL Logistics for over a year and a half. Known for his jovial spirit and professionalism, his untimely passing has left a deep void in the hearts of his colleagues.

“He was a very good driver. Always smiling and dependable,” said Selvan, owner of SNL Logistics. “We couldn’t let him go without showing what he meant to us.”

As the funeral proceeded, the truckers stood solemnly by. And, as the casket was lowered into his final resting place, the six trucks sounded a coordinated horn salute – a powerful send-off only a trucker could truly appreciate.
