A cross-border bus travelling from Johannesburg to Zimbabwe was reportedly hijacked and robbed on the N1 highway on Wednesday night.

The bus belongs to Delta. According to witnesses, it was going to Bulawayo.

According to initial reports, the bus was ambushed by armed men while en route to the Beitbridge border. Passengers were allegedly forced to hand over their cash, cellphones, and other valuables.
