CCTV footage captured at the site of a tragic collision on the N11 at the R573 intersection has provided unequivocal evidence that the driver of the side tipper truck bears no responsibility for the incident.
Instead, it is the driver of a blue BMW, the second party involved, who is revealed to have disregarded a stop sign and proceeded directly onto the path of the oncoming truck.
The owner of the truck told SA Trucker that his vehicle was driving towards Marblehall at the time of the collision.

The BMW suffered catastrophic damage, disintegrating into fragments.
