Yes there is an aeroplane on the road to Hoedspruit and it is now at Polokwane Weigh Bridge. But, you don’t have to worry, it’s sitting on a massive lowbed on tow by P Munro Transport.
The only worry that motorists should have is when the abnormal combination is on the road because it takes all the lanes for itself causing traffic backlogs.
Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety reported;
AN AIRCRAFT IN TRANSIT – NOW AT THE POLOKWANE WHEIGH BRIDGE
An airplane marked ‘EROTEL VIP’ which is in transit through road from OR Tambo to Hoedspruit is now at the Polokwane wheighbridge.
The aeroplane loaded on an abnormal truck left OR Tambo on Monday morning and is envisaged for delivery to Hoedspruit by Friday.
The P Munro supervisor on site, Mr Mnisi, says all is in order and he’s happy with the cooperation from the law enforcement officials escorting the abnormal vehicle.
