Job Advert Summary: An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Driver Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting prescribed in-house training courses for lower skilled employees and monitoring their results. The role involves presenting training sessions on various topics such as new employee orientation, on-the-job training, health and safety practices, customer service, and leadership development. If you are assertive, self-motivated, and possess excellent time management skills, we want to hear from you.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4
• Up to 5 years of experience
• Assertiveness
• Self-motivated with an ability to inspire others
• Time management skills
• Ability to identify route and delivery points hazards and propose mitigation measures
• Conducting job observations during the off-loading process

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct practical driver skills assessments prior to employment
• Conduct and assist in incident/accident investigations
• Identify training needs from incidents/accidents and recommend necessary training requirements
• Present training to learners, ensuring understanding and learning of course content
• Testing and on-route evaluation of the drivers
• Regular in-cab assessments of all drivers
• Liaise with HRD coordinator to develop long and short term training plans
