At least 20 bodies have been recovered along the Jukskei River in Johannesburg following flash flooding on Saturday afternoon.
Reports from local social media groups in security and rescue reported that around 20 people may have drowned after being swept away by the raging waters.
It’s suspected that 20 people were part of a church group gathered at the Jukskei river.
SAPS, JMPD, several EMS providers and security companies are on the scene.
