Loubser Bulk Services Director, Dirkie Loubser dies in apparent suicide

Dirkie Loubser, the director of Loubser Bulk Services (LBS), has passed away. Although initial reports suggest that he may have died by suicide, this has not been officially confirmed.

On Wednesday evening, news of Loubser’s death began circulating on social media, but the cause of his death remains uncertain.

LBS Co-Director, Goddy Struwig, has confirmed Loubser’s passing but provided limited information on the circumstances surrounding it.

Loubser is said to have passed away at his home in Mahikeng.

As director of LBS, he led a transport company that specializes in the handling, loading, and transportation of bulk materials and commodities in the agricultural and mining sectors, as well as the motor, construction, and FMCG industries.

LBS offers solutions to customers in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
