Hestony Transport has its own Driver Recruitment department that specialises in the recruitment of only the best drivers to become part of its team.
The trucking company is always hiring due to the massive number of their fleet hence applicants are advised to keep checking with them on specific dates they will be conducting tests.
They offer some of the highest salaries and bonuses in the industry.
The application process includes completing an application form, calling your references, interviews, yard and road tests, criminal record checks and pre-employment polygraphs. Please note that no CVs are accepted, only Hestony Transport application forms.
Successful applicants receive full training for a week.

Hestony Transport truck driver job requirements
SOUTH AFRICAN CITIZENS
1. A valid Code 14 License (EC) must be at least TWO years old.
2. If your Code 14 License (EC) is only ONE-year-old, it can be accepted along with a Code 10 License which is at least TWO years old.
3. You must have a minimum of TWO years of experience working as a driver. Anything less will render you unqualified.
4. You must be between 25 – 65 years of age and in good health.
5. You must have a valid PDP which may not expire for at least 6 months after your application date unless you have already applied for a new one (proof must be supplied)
6. You must be able to produce your ID and Driver’s License as well as your Passport if you have one.
ZIMBABWE CITIZENS
1. You must have a Zim-class 2 for a minimum of FOUR years.
2. You must have a minimum of FOUR years of long-distance driving experience in South Africa. Any less is UNACCEPTABLE.
3. You must have a valid Traffic Register, Defensive, and an International work permit.
4. Your work permit and Defensive must not expire for at least 6 months from the current date.
5. You must be 25 years of age or older.
6. You must be able to produce the originals of all of the required documents on the application.
