A tanker truck driver was found tied up in his truck on the N2 south in Durban after he was hijacked earlier on the same day.

Private security company PT Tactical Unit reported that the driver stopped at a garage to buy something to eat. It’s alĀleged that hijackers pounced on him at that garage and drove off with him.

“According to tracker records, the truck, a white Actros Mercedes Truck fully loaded with diesel, lost the tracking signal at that garage around 09h30 on Saturday,” PT Tactical Unit reported.
