A hijacked truck was recovered in Clairwood, Durban last night after suspects had tied the driver up and stole the truck and trailer.
After receiving information of the hijacking, the owner of the truck contacted his tracker company who traced the truck to Clairwood.
The truck was abandoned in Clairwood but the trailer was nowhere to be seen.
A private security company recovered the trailer still fully loaded whilst on patrol alongside the N2 freeway on the northbound carriageway.
The trailer and contents were recovered and handed over to SAPS.
No arrests were made.
