A truck driver has died after he lost control of his Volvo truck and crashed into the base of a mountain on the R37 at Chuenespoort in Limpopo on Tuesday morning.
The truck, which was pulling a side tipper interlink trailer, completely dismantled leaving the cab, engine and the chassis separated from each other.
The driver reportedly died on the spot.

The cause of the crash is not known at this stage, however there was speculation that it could be as a result of fatigue as only one vehicle was involved in the horrific accident.
