Watch: People loot petrol after tanker crash in Wadeville

A video of people looting fuel after a tanker crashed in Wadeville on Friday morning has surfaced on social media.

It’s scary that reports suggest the fuel is petrol which is highly flammable and could cause a massive disaster if it ignites but the looters don’t seem to care about the risk.

This is despite that recently 37 people died after they were caught up in a gas tanker explosion in Boksburg.

Amongst the deceased are onlookers who either wanted to film the incident or just watch.

The Wadeville fuel tanker crash also highlights the inefficiency of the law enforcement personnel who can be seen watching the crowd as it loots the petrol.

The scene is also not cordoned off to limit the degree of damaga if it ends up catching fire.
