On Saturday morning there was a truck collision which killed 2 people near Klerksdorp on the N12 highway.
One of the trucks rear ended the other causing both to catch fire. The driver of the truck which rear ended the other died at the spot and it is not clear whether the other deceased is the other driver or a passenger.
The other truck was carrying fresh produce to Johanesburg Market and all wa scattered onto the road causing major delays to traffic.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
