Hluhluwe – A Durban man was tragically killed in a devastating accident between a side tipper truck and a BMW sedan on the N2 highway near Hluhluwe this past week.
Dashcam footage of the incident has surfaced online, providing a grim account of the events that unfolded on the fateful day.
In the heart-wrenching video, the ill-fated BMW sedan can be seen losing control and swerving into the path of the oncoming side tipper truck.
The dashcam footage leaves little doubt that the truck driver had no time to react, ultimately resulting in a horrifying head-on collision.

Tragically, the collision left the sedan driver trapped inside the crumpled wreckage.
Unfortunately, the driver of the BMW succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
The truck driver, on the other hand, was fortunate to escape with minor injuries.
First responders quickly attended to the injured driver, providing vital medical attention.
It’s unknown what caused the sedan driver to lose control of his vehicle.
