A truck driver has sadly been killed in a collision between two haulage trucks on the A33 highway in Botswana about 70km to Pandamatenga on Monday afternoon.
According to SA Truckers who arrived at the scene of the crash just after 16h00, a brand new FAW truck enroute to Zambia collided with another truck going on the opposite direction.
“Sadly, the FAW driver died on the scene while the driver for the International truck escaped unharmed,” said one trucker.
He added that the surviving truck driver alleged that the other truck attempted to overtake without seeing him approaching leading to the collision.
