Hijacked truck and stolen freight recovered in Gauteng recovery

Lenasia: A 47-year old man was arrested for possession of stolen property on Gemini Street in Lenasia Ext 9. The police’s PIU unit investigating a case of a Nestle Truck that was hijacked in Kempton Park on Thursday said.

The truck was found in Killarney and the Nestle chocolate boxes stolen.

Investigations led the police to a house in Lenasia where the boxes of chocolate were found. The boxes were positively linked with the truck hijacking.


Other products were also found in the house which are boxes of dish washing liquid, hair shampoos, body lotion, fabric softeners, cologne, body spray, tooth paste, face washing products, AA batteries and detergents.
