The N3 Toll Concession has confirmed that several trucks are blocking the N3 freeway at the Roadside between Warden and Villiers in the Free State early this Tuesday morning 14 June 2022.
N3TC warned motorists to be cautious when approaching the area.
The N3 blockade is suspected to be a truck driver strike led by the ATDF-ASA which continue to fight to have the government consider it’s requests in terms of employment of foreign nationals in the trucking industry.
Unsigned notices of the strike have been making rounds on social media in the past days.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid the blockade.
