Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Two Trucks on N2/M41 Interchange in Umhlanga

A motorcyclist has been killed after he was caught up in a collision with two trucks on the N2/M41 interchange in Umhlanga north of Durban on Tuesday.

IPSS Medical Rescue responded to reports of the accident, not far from the serious crash on Monday on the M41 involving a side tipper truck and 49 cars.

On arrival, paramedics discovered that two trucks and a motorbike had been involved in a collision.

“Unfortunately, the rider of the motorbike sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on scene,” reported IPSS.

The occupants of both trucks were uninjured.

The cause of the fatal crash is not known.
