A SAPS policewoman was tragically shot and killed by a motorist at an accident scene on Friday 24 March 2023 around 17h00.
It’s alleged that the policewoman tried to intervene between motorists whose vehicles had collided due to a road rage incident when the fatal shooting occurred.
The suspect, who is alleged to have committed the murder, reportedly turned the gun on himself after shooting the policewoman. The suspect died at the scene after shooting himself in the head.
According to reports, the incident took place between Hlalanikahle and Extension 10 on Matthew Phosa drive at Ezinambeni in Emalahleni.
The police officer was stationed at the Vosman police station.
