The N3 freeway is closed at the bottom of Van Reenen pass following a multiple-vehicle crash involving at least two trucks.
Emergency officials responded to the crash along the N3 before the Tugela Toll gate this morning, 26 March.
It’s reported that a tanker caught fire after the crash.
N3 Toll Route sent out a traffic alert advising road users to expect delays on the route between Van Reenen and Tugela Plaza.

The multiple vehicle crash and truck fire occurred near the Biltong Shop.
