Tinney, who dedicated over five decades to trucking, succumbed to the illness recently, leaving behind a legacy of camaraderie and invaluable support for fellow truckers on the road.

Tinney’s journey in the trucking industry began in the late 1960s and early 1970s, where he swiftly gained admiration for his expertise behind the wheel.

Over the years, he navigated various terrains and challenges, eventually establishing himself as a respected figure within the community.

His dedication to the profession was exemplified by his unwavering commitment to helping and advising fellow truckers, earning him the endearing titles of “Sir Robert” and “Lady Diana.”

In recent years, Tinney cruised the highways in his cherished Peterbilt 362e, a symbol of his passion and commitment to his craft.

Despite battling cancer, Tinney continued to inspire others with his resilience and determination, showcasing the true spirit of a seasoned trucker.
