Runaway abnormal truck rips through Lydenburg leaving at least two people dead

Emergency personnel are at a scene of a massive crash in Lydenburg where a runaway truck collided with multiple vehicles.

The truck, a Mercedes Actros truck hauling an abnormal load, reportedly collided with more than 12 vehicles as the driver struggled to bring the truck under his control.

Preliminary information suggests that two people have been killed the accident.

It’s not known what caused the accident.
