A 51-year-old truck driver was found dead in his truck on Thursday morning 20 April 2023.
The incident happened at the BP Truck Inn at the intersection of the N14 and R34 highways.
It’s alleged that the truck driver did not respond when a colleague knocked on his door to wake him up. This prompted him to peep through the windscreen and he found him lying on his bed.
Together with other drivers and the truck stop staff, they forced the truck open and discovered that the driver was lifeless.

Police were called in and they have since initiated investigations into what could have caused his death.
