Top 8 Electrical trucks to watch 2022/23

Electrical trucks have become pretty commonplace. It`s no marvel that automakers at the moment are focussing on electric-powered pickup vans. The marketplace for brand spanking new electric-powered pickup vans is about to be crowded. Although the majority of those electric-powered vans are without a doubt capable, and a few of them a bit pricey, we agree that the variety of upcoming electric-powered pickups will quickly be massive and sufficient to healthy levels to accommodate all budgets and tastes.

We’ve put up a list of trucks that will be available as early as next year, in addition to the ones that will be available later. Although it`s uncertain which electric-powered pickup truck will lead the pack, the Rivian R1T seems to be the frontrunner. In this article,  we can communicate the pinnacle of eight electric-powered motors in no specific order.

Ford’s best-selling pickup truck going electric was always going to be a big deal. Five out of every 100 vehicles sold in the US last year was a Ford F-series truck, so even if a small percentage of those switch to an electric version, that’s a huge change.

The Ford F-150 Lightning was announced back in May 2021 and the first models were delivered to customers in April 2022. With an estimated range now increased to 320 miles, a 2,000lbs payload, and 10,000lbs towing capacity, this is a workhorse of a truck. It features 11 outlets onboard to power your tools – or your campsite – and can even plug into your home to keep everything running in the event of a power outage.

Prices start at $39,974 (US only) plus up to $7500 in potential federal savings. However, the orders are currently closed with new inquiries expected to wait until at least 2023.

The Tesla Cybertruck was first announced in 2019 and looked so wild that most thought it would never go into production. However, in recent months we’ve seen more and more production prototypes, and when Tesla’s new Texas factory opened, it was giving delivery estimates in 2023 for those who had already booked.

Cybertruck still looks like something designed for outer space, but we do a bit more on its functionality. There’s adaptive air suspension, 3,500 lb payload, 14,000 lb towing capacity, arched rear cargo space, a projected 2.9-second acceleration at 060 mph, and range. Operates up to 500 miles. These numbers are far from accurate but if the real numbers come close, Cybertruck will provide real competition for the big names in the trucking industry.
