Trucker accused of killing Texas woman in highway road rage shooting

In a tragic incident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon, a truck driver stands accused of fatally shooting a Texas woman on a highway in Van Zandt County, Texas.

The incident took place on September 19th, approximately at 1:30 p.m., along a stretch of Interstate 20 within Van Zandt County, Texas.

According to authorities from the Van Zandt County Sheriff’s Office, the unfortunate incident transpired when a woman was driving her car eastward on I-20, concurrently with a man operating a tractor-trailer.

It is alleged that the two vehicles became embroiled in what appears to be a road rage incident.

Tragically, at some point during this confrontation, the truck driver discharged a firearm into the woman’s car, resulting in her untimely death.

At present, the identity of the female victim remains undisclosed.

Jason Rashad Williams, the truck driver involved in the incident, now faces grave charges, including murder and three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
