n17 sasol garage robbery

Authorities in Mpumalanga are appealing for cooperation from truck drivers who may have driven on the N17 in Kinross between 01:30 and 03:00 on Monday morning, September 11.

Their assistance is crucial following a brazen attack at the Kinross Sasol garage, where 15 armed individuals targeted the establishment and bombed the safe.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) is specifically interested in reviewing footage captured by dashcams on vehicles that passed by the Sasol garage or the adjacent highway, heading towards Bethal or Leandra, during the specified time window.

It is suspected that the culprits used parked getaway vehicles located alongside the road.

Authorities believe that truck drivers, trucking companies, or members of the public may possess valuable information that could assist in the ongoing investigation.
