Two lives were tragically cut short in a head-on collision on the N2 near Murchison in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) South Coast.
The horrific crash occurred late in the evening when a car and a truck collided, resulting in a devastating loss of life.
The Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service promptly responded to the distressing reports of the collision just outside Murchison.
When their team arrived at the scene, the full extent of the tragedy became apparent.

One individual involved in the accident sustained severe injuries, while another was reported with minor injuries.
Both victims were provided with essential medical care right at the scene before they were carefully transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Tragically, despite the rapid response and valiant efforts of the emergency services, two of the vehicle’s occupants had sustained injuries so grave that they succumbed to their wounds before any help could arrive.
The names and identities of the victims have not been released pending notification of their families.
