In a bizarre incident that on the N3 freeway in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, a motorist captured an articulated truck racing down the wrong side of the highway, showing little regard for oncoming traffic and attempts by authorities to intervene.
It’s not known when the incident happened, however, the footage started doing rounds online on Sunday afternoon.
The footage, which quickly went viral online, shows a KZN Road Traffic Inspectorate car trying to stop the rogue truck as it hurtled down the fast lane on the westbound carriageway.
Sirens blared, but the truck’s driver remained unyielding.

In the 91-second video, the truck narrowly avoided collisions with vehicles travelling in the opposite direction, leaving other drivers in shock and disbelief.
