At the intersection of R72 and N2 in East London, CCTV captures a car approaching the traffic light controlled intersection showing a green light for traffic approaching from the right.
This car slows down like it’s going to stop but suddenly proceeds to enter the junction. It does this right in front of an oncoming truck from the right hand side.
Upon seeing danger, the trucker swerves to the right in a bid to avoid direct impact with the car which would have had a devastating outcome.

Thanks to the trucker’s efforts, the two vehicles collide but with less impact causing the car to spin all the way to the left while he struggles but successfully brings the truck under control.
