Watch: Motorist Miraculously Escape As Truck Squashes His Van in EC Crash

A driver of a pick up van is lucky to escape with his life after he was involved in an accident which left his vehicle squashed underneath an articulated truck in KwaBhaca in the Eastern Cape earlier on Friday morning.

Umzimvubu Local Municipality confirmed that there was no fatality in the accident.

“An accident involving a truck and a van has occurred in KwaBhaca along the Mthatha bypass about an hour ago. No fatalities have been reported. Please drive with caution when approaching this area,” wrote the municipality on social media.

The cause of the crash is not known at the moment.
