The N10 highway near Paterson was closed to traffic from Sunday night following a fatal head-on crash between to side tipper trucks.
According to PE Traffic Updates, On Monday m orning the roadway was still blocked.
However, smaller trucks and cars were being directed past the accident scene by traffic officials.
Motorists were advised to take alternatgives as traffic was backed up for kilometeres on both directions.
