Ni-Da Transport, a KwaZulu Natal-based trucking company, has a private jet – a Pilatus PC-24, that directors use to commute around the country. An amazed trucker filmed the Ni-Da aircraft as it jetted off the Virginia Airport in Durban on Friday afternoon.
The video has gone viral in the trucking community groups with others admiring the soft life while some compare the directors’ lifestyle to that of their truck drivers.
Nico Oosthuizen started Ni-Da Transport in 1988 as a sand and stone supplier to the building industry of Newcastle and the surrounding area.
Today, the Logistics division of Ni-Da Group operates a fleet of over 500 side tippers interlinks making the company one of the biggest side-tipper operations in Sub-Saharan Africa
The company owns six depots around the country situated in Newcastle, Durban, Richards Bay, Middelburg, Wadeville and Komatipoort.
With such a vast business and other projects under Ni-Da Group, a private jet becomes a necessity rather than luxury.
