An accident involving two trucks in Boksburg earlier today has seen a woman killed and two others injured.
The incident occurred near the intersection of R554 and Trichardt roads in Windmill Park at around 07h30.
Emergency Services rescue teams from Boksburg central and Vosloorus fire stations responded and found three patients, all three still trapped inside the cab of one of the trucks.
The road was closed while the jaws of life were used to free the trio.
Unfortunately, one of the passengers succumbed to her injuries.
The other two were flown to Union Hospital for further treatment.
Further investigations will continue.
