On Saturday, 25 June 2016, members attached to Cape Town Sea Border Patrol Unit received information about a truck destined for Cape Town, transporting counterfeit goods.
Following a search of the vicinity, the truck with a refrigerated trailer, was spotted on the N1 and pulled over.
The search of the vehicle led to the discovery of counterfeit goods comprising various brands with an estimated value of R250 000-00.
The drive was arrested and made a court appearance this morning.
