Four people die in truck and car collision on N2 near Kei Bridge

Four people died when the VW Polo Vivo they were travelling in collided with an articulated truck on the N2 near Kei Bridge last night.

The crash happened about 12km before Kei Bridge from East London side.

All occupants of the Polo Vivo, four males died in the crash.

It is alleged the driver of the Vivo lost control of the vehicle while driving down towards the Kei Bridge from East London direction.

The vehicle encroached onto the truck’s path causing a head-on collision.

The truck driver and his 2 passengers escaped unharmed.

A case of culpable homicide has been opened for further investigation.
