A motorist has been killed after his car collided with an articulated truck on the R23 at the R550 just after 05h00 on Monday morning, November 7.
It’s alleged that the traffic lights at the intersection were not functioning at the time of the accident.
The driver of the light motor vehicle, who was the only occupant in the car, was declared deceased on the scene.
The driver of the truck was unharmed in the accident.
All emergency and support services are on scene.
The cause of the accident is not known at this stage.
